Durham Pharmaceuticals Ltd was established in 1950 as a regional pharmaceutical wholesaler based in the North-East of England, supplying local community pharmacies, GP Surgeries and Hospices in County Durham, Northumberland and North Yorkshire.
It is licensed for the wholesale dealing of medicinal products for human use by the Medicines Heathcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) under licence UK WDA(H) 2353.
It has never held a Manufacturing/Importation licence (MIA) and so cannot import or manufacture medicines.

'durhampharmaceuticals.com' was a fraudulent website which had no connection whatsoever with Durham Pharmaceuticals Ltd of Trimdon Station (whose legitimate website is 'durhampharmaceuticalsltd.co.uk') despite what the site claimed. A fraudulent email from the site can be found here. Needless to say, the real Durham Pharmaceuticals Ltd. does not employ anyone called Roy Green or Vicki Jin (named in fraudulent emails), and as a pharmaceutical wholesaler, we don't need a Research & Development Department.
The fraudulent internet domain name was being used by scammers for criminal purposes such as advance-fee fraud, phishing and email message scams. The site itself was cloned from the 2021 site of Quay Pharmaceuticals Ltd (a legitimate company now operated by SGS Quay Pharmaceuticals Ltd) and displayed the Manufacturing Licence UK MIA 20300 belonging to Quay Pharmaceuticals of Deeside. This explains why the 'Q' logo:
for Quay Pharmaceuticals appeared on the site, and not the tablets/capsule logo of the real Durham Pharmaceuticals Ltd (our genuine logo is an interpretation of the initials of the company dP).
If you wish to confirm the identity of the real Durham Pharmaceuticals Ltd, write to us at the address shown on our WDA(H) 2353 licence (which can be found on the MHRA website) or on the Companies House website.
The website 'durhampharmaceuticals.com' was reported to the National Crime Agency (Cyber Crime Unit), the MHRA and Action Fraud. SGS Quay Pharmaceuticals Ltd, on being informed that their MHRA MIA licence was being misused on the website, apparently served a cease and desist notice on the website hosts. The site appears (as at July 2026) to have been suspended.
There is nothing to prevent the fraudsters resurrecting the site with a new host or stealing another legitimate company's identity, so do not respond to any emails from a company suggesting a "commission" to supply Zigrovin Herbal Extract. As far as we are aware (and we are wholesale medicines distributors), there is no such product.
